Pears in the shirt

Simple recipe pear compote

The first time we cut the pears, it is ideal not to be very ripe. For compote it is ideal to have stronger fruits.

Place the pear slices in jars.

In each jar we put a spoonful of sugar. I don't want the compote to be very sweet, if you want it to be sweeter, you can double the amount of sugar.

You can also use sweetener instead of sugar (saccharin, fructose, stevia).

We put a piece of anise in each jar, so that it is not very fragrant.

Fill the jars with water.

We will use sterilized lids and jars beforehand. We put the lids on, we tighten very well.

We go to the bain-marie, we boil them for 15 minutes, from the moment the water boils.

Let the jars cool, cover them with beds, so that we are sure that they will seal well. It is ideal to leave them overnight.

The next day we check that all the lids of the pear jars are sealed, then we wipe them, label them and put them in the pantry.

Pears in puff pastry with cheese

You need: 1 puff pastry Linco PATISERO 400 g, 9 suitable pears, 1 egg, 200 g cream cheese, 100 g cheese with mold or feta, 1 tablespoon dried fruit, 1 tablespoon lightly baked walnut kernels, 1 pinch of salt

For syrup: 200 ml of water, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional: 1 teaspoon of orange blossom water or 1 cinnamon stick

  1. Allow the dough to thaw according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
  4. Put all the ingredients for the syrup in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  5. Grease the pears with syrup and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Spread the dough a little and cut it into four equal parts.
  7. Grease four forms with a little butter.
  8. Mix the moldy cheese with the cream cheese, salt, chopped dried fruit and walnut kernels.
  9. Put the puff pastry in each form and add a tablespoon of cheese filling.
  10. Fill each pear with 1-2 teaspoons of cream cheese.
  11. Put 2-3 pears in each shape, depending on its size.
  12. Grease the edges of the dough with a little beaten egg.
  13. Bake at 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

I can't brag about extraordinary performances in the culinary field, that's why I avoided writing or posting something on the blog related to this topic. Although I have progressed lately in terms of gastronomy, I admit that there are dishes that I have never tried and I am not ashamed. Probably their time will come.

For example, I never made sarmale, I never made cozonac, no meatballs or very complicated dishes.

Instead, I became quite good at fast food, which I could prepare easily, without too much effort and which was to the taste of the children. For us, I put some meat on the grill, I make another salad, but most of the time we eat almost the same with them.

Most of the time we eat together in the evening, at dinner, that's why I always try to have something good and fresh at the table.

I made a list of the dishes that are most appreciated in our country, which I always look at when I don't know what else to cook. I always update this list when I get a new idea, and I keep rotating these dishes so that the little ones don't get very bored of them.

When they don't want anything else, when they don't like anything I prepared, I quickly make a polenta and I saved the situation.   • 180 g sugar (I used brown)
  • 200 g flour

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.

We clean the pears and cut them into cubes, sprinkle the cubes with lemon juice so as not to change their color.
